Payment and refund
This page briefly explains what you pay to BookWhenFull, what you pay to the hotel or provider and when a service fee refund may apply.
BookWhenFull charges only a separate service fee for its own platform and reservation service.
This service fee is separate from the accommodation agreement.
You generally pay the hotel price and local costs directly to the hotel or provider.
Hotel terms and hotel refunds therefore run separately from the BookWhenFull service fee.
A reservation request is not yet a confirmed booking.
The hotel or provider accepts or refuses the request. You then receive a status update via BookWhenFull.com.
If a service fee must be paid, this is clearly explained in that step.
You pay the service fee only after the hotel or provider has accepted your request.
The payment step within BookWhenFull.com concerns only BookWhenFull's separate service.
If no accommodation agreement is formed after a service fee has been paid: that service fee will be refunded.
When withdrawing from the separate service: if a statutory right of withdrawal applies to you and you withdraw in time, article 20 of the terms and conditions applies.
For a service already fully performed: if you requested an immediate start and the separate service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal for that separate service may lapse.
For hotel refunds: refunds of the hotel price or local costs are handled through the hotel or provider and its terms.
